A glimpse at things to come...

Ask anyone that knows me and they'll say that I'm constantly working on my toy room @ home.  I can never seem to get the shelves just right or the toys that are displayed on them.  I'll go through phases and buy stuff only to sell it months/years later.  This leaves large gaps on the shelves and forces me to yet rework them.  That said I haven't been able to photograph my Transformers collection for quite some time.  It's still a work in progress and I'm not done yet, but here is a quick picture I snapped this evening as I was prepping a Botcon trade.

Photobucket

These toys here are housed on top of my single IKEA Detolf glass case.  For those of you that aren't up to date on your Transformers the big guy is Brave Maximus from the Japanese series Car Robots.  Perched on his shoulders are two PVC figures from the Heroes of Cybertron line.  Thundercracker and Sunstorm - the latter being an older OTFCC (Official Transformers Collector's Convention) exclusive.  Heroes of Cybertron Dirge is on the left knee of Brave Max.  On the right is the first release of Masterpiece Convoy along w/ the Kiss Play Convoy w/ Melissa.  On the left is Alternity Convoy and parked up front is Alternators Tracks w/ Swerve's flame hood sticker.

If you look to the left of the image you can see the shoulder of one of my favorite G1 toys...can you guess who it is?  I would like to say I'll have my complete TF collection photographed and ready to share here on the blog soon, but I know w/ another baby on the way in June it might be awhile before I'm ready to share everything crammed in the room.

  1. Oh, oh, I know, I know!!!! But I won't tell so others can guess...initials are SC though (that's kinda funny).

Dude, you said you were going to get pictures of your room before your last kid was born! That was like two years ago! I've been patiently waiting, waiting, waiting. And I seem to remember you mention a video of some sort. You're right though, if you are going to do it you better do it now, you only have like a week to go!

  2. Winnie isn't due to join the family until June 30th so I have a little more time than 1 week!

I just need help opening all the new toys and getting them on the shelves!
